Nokia Lumia 610 Review | Mango Operating System With Bunch Of Features

California – After release Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 , Now Nokia launches new seri Nokia Lumia 610 , the cheapest series. Still using Microsoft Operating system , Windows Phone 7.5 ( Mango ) . 610 is made especially for young consumers who want a smartphone.

Not like the Nokia Lumia 710 which is made of plastic, 610 using metal and plastic, where the edge side using metal and the backside using glossy plastic that give elegant impression. This phone is slim with no corners and comes with 4 color choices White, Cyan, Magenta, and Black.

And similar with other series, it has 3 main buttons back, home, and search. Unfortunately Nokia Lumia 610 using Micro SIM card, where you should find this type or you should cut your old sim card so it will match.

As appearance Lumia 610 is comfortable enough, because the screen light can adjust automatically, so you can you use it both of indoor and outdoor. Moreover it has Corning Gorilla Glass that able to protect screen from scratch when it interacts with others.

The touchscreen really responsive when receives input wheter accessing menu or when using pinch to zoom function. Similar as 800, 710, 610 which is using Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, 610 is cools with Live Tile Homescreen.

For ability of camera, Nokia Lumia 610 has lens resolution as 710 . The feature can be accessed via shutter button or menu. The resolution can be adjust 4:3 or 16:9 as you wish. With macro support, effects and ISO you don’t need to worry about. Because you will see the picture with low noise and sharp.

Moreover if you use to record video, you can still use face detection that exist when you do take picture and record speed 720p@30fps, the quality is sharp and no breaks. The you can also share it to social network or email.

Using  Windows Phone 7.5 Mango make this series similar with 800 and 710 , the difference is the performance, because this , smart phone using the lowest processor and RAM from the 3 series of Lumia. But i don’t find the weakness because when i tried to run the programs everything is well and responsive.

From audio sector  610 has 2 music applications, Zune Player from microsoft and Nokia Music Player.  The things that you should know is you can directly access the Music Market.

Internet and Connectivity

Internet : 3G/HSDPA, 7.2 MBPS; HSUPA, 5.76 MBPS, GPRS, EDGE ; Browser : WAP 2.0/XHTML, HTML 5, RSS feeds ; Connection : WIFI 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, v.2.1 with A2DP, EDR, USB, microUSB 2.0, Bing search engine.The features is similar with the other series but unfortunately it doesn’t support flash , so you can open page with flash contents. And this series has Bing search engine as typical of windows phone.

GPS yes, A-GPS support, compass, Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive

For who like to drive or go to any place, this phone is perfect because you can open Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive. The difference between Nokia Drive and Maps is Drive has 3D appearance while Maps doesn’t.

Conclusion : The truth is from OS side and interface there’s no special from the other serieS. Because what you can find on 800 and 710 you can find here. The difference is the hardware specs, but you won’t find it as real.
