California – The Samsung Galaxy S arrival to global market
has built position of Samsung as Anroid
smartphone vendor with the largest number of sales in the world. After presented
Galaxy SII, Samsung is back, presents a product as filler or bridge between first
generation of Galaxy S users and 2nd
generation. Comes with name Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070, Samsung includes double core processor
with friendly price compared with the previous generation. With $400, does it
deserve to be your own ?
Design OF Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070
Dimension : (WxDxH) : 123.2 x 63 x 9.7 mm ; weight : 120 g
Comes with candy bar shape full touch screen, S Advance
comes with slim body 9.7 mm. From the design’s side, S Advanced has curve
typical Galaxy Nexus that came with slim body on the upper side. While on the
backside, S Advance using plastic material with ridged texture that result
elegant impression.
Hardware
CPU : ST-Ericsson NovaThor processor 1 GHz Cortex-A9 dual
cores; GPU: Exynos’s Mali-400MP; RAM: 768 MB, 3.91 gb STORAGE, UP TO 32 GB
microSD card.
To support the performance, Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070 has included S Advanced
with dual core 1 GHz processor also RAM 768 MB. For GPU, Samsung has Exynos
Mali 400MP.
For storage, S Advance has 8 GB that partitioned for system
and data. If you thing it won’t be enough, you can add up to 32 GB.
Interface and Operating System
Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, 4” TFT Super Amoled 800 x 480
pixels, 16 M Color Grid Vertical.
S Advance adopts Super Amoled screen with resolution WVGA
(800X480PX) 4 inches. The display is very sharp, contrast highly also the deep
black. For under sun usage is still enough to see.
Unfortunately the software still l Gingerbread and up till
now there no sureness about upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich.
From interface, S Advance has TouchWiz 4.0, that also used
on Galaxy SII. The front page consist of 7 sheets that you can arrange.
Camera and Video

The photography oF Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070 has increased with LED flash
for helping when you take picture indoor. With panorama mode and action shoot,
you can take moving picture in many frames. Samsung also includes camera
settings such as shooting mode, scene mode, exposure value, focus mode, effects,
resolution, white balance, ISO, metering, auto contrast, blink detection,
guidelines, and image quality.
Conclusion : Although has dual core 1GHz processor S Advance
doesn’t show yet the best performance such as other smartphones, LG Optimus for
example. From ability to record and play video , S Advance only do 720p
resolution. With $400 make it must fight with Xperia U that made by Sony which
is issued able to upgrade to Android 4.0
