Sony Xperia U NXT Series Reviews




California – Since put off Ericsson, Sony has introduced the first its smartphone series called NXT Series. Xperia Sola which is the superior specs has we talked. Now time for Sony Xperia U, the new comer. It has the ability even Xperia P and Xperia S don’t have. Well, what’s that?

NXT series has its typical, where Xperia S, P, and U share similarity in design. All the design is square with curve on the back side and has sharp angle. The most different thing is of course Xperia U has simple size.
The excellent of Sony Xperia U compared with S and P is on the design. Where the transparent heritage of Xperia Pureness able to off light and the color follows the dominant color on screen.

For middle end smartphone, Sony Xperia U screen has the deep of pixels well. Moreover, such as other smartphones by Sony, it also has Mobile Bravia Engine that able to increase picture quality when display photos or videos and the responsiveness  is great.

Deep into camera, It has specs : 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, 3D Sweep panorama, image stabilization, secondary camera VGA, video recorder 720p@30fps, and video light.

For Operating system and User Interface, Sony promised update of Ice Cream Sandwich for NXT series, while on waiting user must satisfy with Gingerbread. The User interface of Xperia U has similarity with others because it’s using Timescape UI by Sony even the same version.

For the hardware it has specs : Dual Core 1 GHZ processor, STE U8500 chipset, DB8500 GPU, RAM : 512 GB RAM, internal storage : 4 GB user available, battery 1320 mAh.

Conclusion :  Compared with other NXT series by Sony, Sony  Xperia U is inferior on many sectors from screen, storage, until the hardware. But the interesting from this series is the bottom cap, you can change it as you wish, and the transparent ornament can change and attractive. With the $280 is the perfect price for this smartphone.
