If you feel you don't need Blu-ray Writer yet but you want to access various media based on Blu-ray, you can choose optical hardware which is Blu-ray Combo. Beside read the Blu-ray disc, you can do reading and data recording to CD and DVD disc. So if you need a portable gadget and using USB, you can choose this Samsung SE-406AB.
Samsung SE-406AB only use USB port, doesn't need additional adapter like others. Its USB wire has 2 branches ; second branch as additional power. Is suggested that plug both of them if you find difficulty in writing and reading disc.
Its not only can be connected with PC yet also on Television with USB port. Later, this Blu-ray Combo also be used as DVD player and to explore from disc that inserted.
Unfortunately, beside USB wire is length less, especially Blu-ray disc. Samsung SE-406AB rather choosers. Its rather difficult to identify my Blu-ray recording. The disc is not detected. But when inserted Blu-ray movie disc, this hardware work well. When it’s connected with PC , all disc type can be read.
The speed is not special yet the reading speed is stable and same as specification.
