California - The Graphic card Gigabyte GV-N430-2GI made by Gigabyte has simple
design. The card size is short enough and using heatsink that almost cover
front side of graphic card. The heatsink made of aluminum and a fan with mid
size. Unfortunately, this card need additional slot.
Gigabyte GV-N430-2GI using graphic core NVidia GF108 that
value class. For speed of accelerator, shader, local memory, and bandwidth of
memory, it follows specs of reference. Nonetheless, Gigabyte installed 2GB DDR3
as local memory , not 1GB the more common.
Because it’s on value class, the performance is not high. It
won’t able to support newest 3D games with high detail and resolution. For
overclocking, I get 800MHz ( accelerator ) , 1600MHz ( shader ), and 900MHz (
local memory ). Performance on 3DMark Vantage 1.1.0 1920 x 1080 pixels increase
15.1%.
With cost US$85 this graphic gives its power, short enough,
and low cost. Do you want it?
