Usage Of Mac Lion Recovery and Lion Recovery Disk Assistant




What will you do if suddenly your Mac OS Lion in trouble ? AH, use a feature on Mac OS X 10.7, it’s Mac Lion Recovery. With this feature, you can run Mac  system operating  recovery with no disk installation. Just access Lion Recovery with push Ctrl+R button on your keyboard when system runs startup so you can restore system or reinstall your Mac OS X.

Lion Recovery Disk Assistant is utility from Apple so Mac Lion  users can make Lion Recovery on external drive / memory. If your operating system really doesn’t work, you can use Lion Recovery Assistant to repair system. Lion Recovery Disk Assistant can be downloaded on http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1433
To run system recovery, you should make Lion Recovery first. Here they are the steps :

1. Plug empty USB flash drive or external  hard drive to notebook or PC based on Mac.

2. Run Recovery Disk Assistant application. This application will detect your external memory.

3. Click Continue to start run copying file that needed for running  Mac Lion recovery to USB drive.

4. After processing done, click Quit button to close application.

After  Lion Recovery is made, new partition will not showed in Finder or Disk Utility. To access Lion Recovery, reboot your computer then hold Option button. Next , choose Recovery HD  from Startup Manager.
